Born in Sanremo (IM), Adriano Valerio DeAndreis resides in Badalucco, a picturesque village in the province of Imperia. A passionate self-taught artist in contemporary painting, Adriano spends his days working as a technician in a hydroelectric power plant.
Naturally reserved, he began sharing his artistic works only in 2024. In his free time, Adriano embarks on frequent travels, relying on his memory rather than a camera to capture the scenes that have deeply and lastingly moved him, which he then translates onto canvas.
His works are an explosion of bright and vivid colors, dominated by natural elements such as the moon and the sea. His approach is decidedly imaginative and fantastic, adding a touch of poetry that transforms each canvas into a magical narrative. Adriano skillfully balances the linear synthesis of villages, intertwining light and shadows in a harmonious play that enchants and fascinates.
Through distinctive strokes and a vibrant color palette, the artist expresses the visions that fuel his creative world. His works embody an expressive freedom that goes beyond conventional patterns, using geometric signs intertwined with lights and colors to convey strong emotions to the viewer with great communicative power.

The Poetics of Adriano Valerio DeAndreis
Adriano Valerio DeAndreis is an artist with a talent rich in harmony. The combination of colors in his works captures the eye, evoking sensations of pleasure. His landscape representations, often maritime, reveal a vibrant sea that becomes an example of how the artist, through colors, evokes a suggestion of movement and vitality. The shades, the sparkling tones, and his brush bring life to the scenes. DeAndreis himself describes his creative process as guided by passion and imagination, allowing him to "see" and "feel" the scenes he paints.
DeAndreis' natural scenes are indeed enveloped in an aura of imagination, where celestial elements such as the moon, the sun, and fantastic clouds court the paintings, adding a touch of magic to his compositions. These scenes seem to emerge from a fairy tale, enlivening a fantastic world oscillating between the real and the imaginary.
His art, imbued with a dreamlike and fairy-tale dimension, fascinates and transports the observer on an emotional journey. In the artist's paintings, the colors, protagonists of a poetic narrative, become a combination of aesthetic sensitivity aimed at a harmonious synthesis of visual elements.
