Loredana Raciti: An Artistic Nomad

Loredana Raciti was born in Khartoum, Sudan, to a Montenegrin mother and an Italian father. After completing her artistic studies in Rome and graduating from the Academy of Fashion and Costume, she worked as a fashion designer. She entered the world of art with the Metropolismo movement. Drawn to Emotion Painting, her career evolved in a multifaceted direction. Her research is always dynamic and unconventional, characterized by an open Nomadism to cultures along the East-West axis, a sediment of expressive potentialities.

Raciti’s work delves into a monothematic thought process, featuring an informal and conceptual, abstract and symbolic, often dreamlike surrealist style. Her creations reflect a refined irony that leads to an implied dialogue between dream and reality, questioning the mysteries of the human condition, always torn between spirit and matter. This vision of a state of "Transavance," fragmented by the many facets of her artistic sensibilities, serves as a primary call for the soul’s colors of living creatures interacting with their spiritual and physical evolution.
