Assaf El-Khorti

Assaf Mousa Ahmed Alkhrati - a self-taught artist from Gaza, born in 1994, Assaf's journey is one of exploration and self discovery. His art connects him deeply to his work, blending his inner self, tools, colors, and materials, creating an extraordinary link that shapes his unique expression. Art for me is an intricate relationship between the artist and their creation-a fusion of spirit, self, and senses, all converging in each piece.' Recently, Assaf has delved into scrap metal art, crafting sculptures from discarded iron, nails, bolts, and more. Through welding and assembling, he breathes new life into these materials, drawing inspiration from both his local culture and the cinematic world.

AssafMousais a visual artist and sculptor of great talent and quality. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration and participated in numerous workshops and training courses, including a workshop and training on contemporary sculpture at Shababik for Culture and Arts, a cartoon design and sculpting workshop at Dar Al Kalima University, an art aesthetics workshop at Dar Al Kalima University, and an oil photography course at Dar Al Kalima University.

His career is enriched by a series of murals that have marked important social events, including the Earth Day mural at the Commodore Hotel, the mural for Orphan's Day at the Al-Wiam Charitable Society and Gaza Center for Culture and Arts, the Prisoner's Day mural at the Fine Art Forum, and the mural for People with Disabilities Day at the Free Studio Gallery.

He has participated in numerous artistic events and festivals, including the Evening of Birds at Afnan Al-Daheshah and the Evening of Celestial Strings. His works have been exhibited at the Gaza Festival of Contemporary Art at Meshal Hall, the Palestine Nights Festival at Palestine University, the "In Every Home a Painting" exhibition at the Pearl Resort, the "Beginning of Excellence" exhibition at Sama Gaza Hall, and the "Beginning of Excellence 2" exhibition at Palestine University. Additionally, he participated in the "Azhar Al-Shuhada" exhibition at the Rawasi Center for Culture and Arts, the "Gift" exhibition at Al-Maamil Foundation - Al-Quds, and an isolated exhibition with the Red Cross at Rashad Al-Shawa Center.

His talent and dedication to visual art and sculpture have made him a valuable artist, capable of creating works that deeply touch the souls of those who observe them.
