Abstract Expressionist Artist

 

Born in Rijeka, Croatia, where she lives and works.

 

Andrea Stanić is an accomplished abstract expressionist artist, celebrated for her emotive and introspective works that delve into the hidden emotional landscapes of the human experience. Her paintings, characterized by vibrant and dynamic abstraction, have been exhibited globally in solo, biennale, and group exhibitions in countries including Italy, South Korea, Greece, Turkey, the USA, France, Croatia, Japan, Cyprus, South America, and more.

 

Her powerful speech on world peace earned a special recognition award from the City Parliament of Geoja, South Korea. Among her many prestigious honors, Stanić received the Influential Croatian Women for Art and Culture Award (2024), was named Artist of the Year 2025 in Florence, and won the VAM New York Award (2023-2024). She has been recognized with the Award for Excellence in Contemporary Art by the NACT Museum in Japan, as well as theDonatello and MichelangeloAward in Florence, and the Gran Premio Della Stampa Artistica in Sanlermo. Stanić also won the Premio Osar Della Creativita in Monte Carlo, the Luxemburg Art Prize, and received 2nd place at the Global Pop Art Biennale and 1st place at the Colombia Expolitana de Arte Biennials.

 

Stanić’s work was featured in the book Top 50 Artists of the World to Invest In, promoted at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Milan. Her art has been published in notable contemporary art magazines and anthologies, including works by Sonia Demurtas, Marta Lock, and Marlene Pasini.

In her curatorial career, Stanić has served as the curator for the 10th and 11th International Art Festivals of the Theme Museum in South Korea. She is also an observer and judge for the World Triennale 2025 at the Agia Napa Museum in Cyprus and curator for the World Biennale of Contemporary Art 2026 in Cyprus.

 

In addition to her artistic practice, Stanić holds several influential roles within the global art community. She is the President of the Croatian Chapter of UNOTA-Consell Internacional de les Arts (CIA), a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists (Zagreb), and serves as the Croatian Ambassador for Vision Art Media (New York). She also represents Croatia as Ambassador for REALIZAR la Paz (Argentina), Croatian Brand Ambassador for IAC (Pakistan), ACCES (France), and ArteGlobal (Italy). Stanić is the Croatian Ambassador for Public Relations for the GeumbosungArt Center in South Korea, the President of the Croatian Regional Committee for Public Relations at the Haegumgang Thematic Museum, and an Honorary Member of the Korean Artists Council.

 

Her abstract impressionist works are celebrated worldwide and are featured in numerous prestigious public and private collections. Through her art, Stanić invites viewers to explore the complex, often hidden emotions that define the human experience.
