Dina Montesu, born in Orune, after graduating from the Art Institute of Nuoro, continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari. Alongside teaching, since 1992 she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Her works have been presented in private and public venues, in prestigious art exhibitions and reviews, obtaining significant recognition. Thanks to collaboration with several art galleries, she has also exhibited in the most important modern and contemporary art fairs. She is also involved in artistic promotion, curating exhibitions with a particular focus on social and current issues. Her bibliography is extensive, in catalogs and art publications with texts by important art critics and cultural figures. Her work is documented in various catalogs, and in the Italian Modern Art Catalog (CAM) no. 57 and no. 58. Editorial Giorgio Mondadori. She has also curated book texts, pictorial images, and texts for "A Sign Against Violence". The collection of poems in the Sardinian language "Poesias de sos poetas cantadores in limba" (Poems of the poets who sing in the Sardinian language) and "Poesias e pinturas meas" by Mauro Puddori. She is also working on several collections of personal poems, in Sardinian and Italian.
